And back to Dundee

My summer ping-pong continues… I’m back in Dundee.

Well the fringe is over and I had a good time. It was frustrating and disappointing in ways but overall it was good and I’m really happy to have done an entire fringe at least once. It’s made me realise that I’m going to miss everyone and everything a lot more than I thought. Congrats to everyone who worked so hard, and especially to all the freshers doing it for the first time.

So I’m back to Edinburgh on Wednesday to see people before I go, then I disappear to Southampton on Friday.

For loads of reasons I’m really looking forward to going but in at least one major way it’s going to be tough.

Photos from the US

I’ve put some of the better of the photos from the US online. The upload crashed after I left Dundee so there aren’t many up but there’ll be more in a couple of weeks.

Enola Gay

Al’s done well to get his play mentioned on the front page of news.bbc.co.uk, but to add a touch of review to the article, the play was really good when I saw the first performance a few days ago and I’m pretty sure it’ll be even better now.

Go see it.

The Joys of Family

I spent a good portion of today chasing round after Gavin who is going to Turkey tomorrow morning but didn’t know that and wasn’t answering his phone/checking his e-mail. In the end I had to go the C Central and persuade the Box Office staff to let me in to find him, and unsurprisingly it seemed to be a total shock to him that he’s leaving from the airport at 6am tomorrow.

Back and Safe

More some other time!

Return

I’m sitting in an easyInternet on 42nd street contemplating my journey home.

I’ve had a really great holiday. Thanks to everyone who has hosted me, you’re all invited to stay with me any time you’re in the UK.

I’m planning a fuller write-up of the whole holiday when I get a chance…. but from what I’ve heard from Nick I have a few things to do first.
