Dundee

I’m back in Dundee for a few days. I woke up this morning and realised that if I waited until I had a full week to be at home with parents it would be a full month after my exams before I got home and that seemed wrong.

Briefly on other stuff… the news is reporting the EU Constitution being practically dead. To me this is a good thing. I’ve read the constitution and it feels like a massive compromise, which satisfies no-one fully.

Also… I’ve seeded newts beta 3 and am getting feedback.

And now for a test from my phone.

Now that I’ve got a little more free time I thought I’d look into
posting to this weblog by e-mail. If you’re reading this it works.

The Future…

I just had a really good long coffee with Ruth about what she’s going to do in the theatre over the next year and it was really encouraging. It looks like there’ll be real progress on rehanging the rig (hopefully in the next few weeks) and a good approach to everything that involves spending money.

It makes me kindof sad that I won’t be around to see it all happen :-(

7 Down… 0 to go!!!

Wow, the sheer joy of being finished is just joyfull. I’m finished!!!

If I moan/vent at anyone over the next few days, please accept this apology in advance: Sorry

Now, off to do all the things I’ve been putting off until ‘after exams’.

Still 6 Down, 1 to go

It’s 6.23, I have an exam (my last exam) in 3 hours. Why am I awake?

Nevermind, I suppose it gives me that litle bit more time to revise/worry.

6 down…. 1 to go

Well Computer Security was pretty ok, the only thing I didn’t answer entirely confidently was a really small piece of bookwork that was obviously meant as a gift.

Final exam on Monday… you know what, I’m looking forward to it!

5 Down, 2 to go

Well that’s 5 down… Computer Networking was a bit random but I can’t have done that badly so 1 on Thursday and 1 on Monday then I’m finished…. wow, what a thought!

Polling Day

Read this.

OpenDocument approved

It’s been a little while without a proper post… and I’m afraid that’s goingto continue until I can justify sitting down and doing a proper one (possibly after exams)… but here’s a quick thing.

OpenDocument standard approved by OASIS

This has the potential to change the way competition works in the office application space, lets hope it does.
